WHOSE FAULT? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

If we go back to our childhood days we will recognize this weed with the little bulb we used to squeeze to hear it pop. Soto me it is nothing new except in the quantity not only in St. Vincent and the Grenadines but all over the Caribbean.

Some people are making it political like the politicians have the power to perform in such way to produce seaweed to show up in Bequia and no other parts of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. That is utter nonsense. Those who know better should try very hard to do better and leave the work of a greater power to take its course.

So what should the government do to stop this nuisance? Absolutely nothing and all that can be done is to clean up the areas and wait for the next arrival. Regardless of who is in the seat of Government, the job must be done but at what speed and cost.

I must say that from the picture it is the worst I have seen in Bequia. In my previous post https://gregg784.com/2018/06/23/sargassum-weed/  an article reposted from a Bermuda newspaper gives an indication as to how this weed is spread and the origin. I do believe that not everything that is happening should have a taste of politics. This is destroying the real hopes of putting the real message to the people with the real substance.
