Today, we celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world. We recognize the incredible contributions that women have made and continue to make in shaping our societies, communities, and families.

We celebrate the diversity and complexity of women’s experiences, recognizing that gender intersects with race, ethnicity, sexuality, class, ability, and more. We recognize the strength and resilience of women who have fought for justice, equality, and human rights.

On this International Women’s Day, we call on individuals, communities, organizations, and governments to take action towards gender equality.
