October 5 – The Will to Stand Alone
Scripture: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…” – Daniel 1:8
Meditation
Daniel’s will was set before the test came. Surrounded by compromise, he stood alone because his heart was already purposed toward God.
Sometimes the way forward requires standing apart from the crowd. The will to stand alone is not arrogance — it is loyalty to God above all else.
Application
Purpose in your heart today that you will not compromise, even if you must stand alone.
Prayer
Lord, give me the courage to stand for You, even when I stand alone. Amen.
