Soldier charged with molesting children

A LANCE Corporal in the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment appeared in the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court today charged with sexually assaulting his two young nieces in 2014.

The soldier stood before Magistrate Adia Mohammed in the Seventh Court on three charges of indecent sexual assault which he allegedly committed against the girls, who are ages eight and 14.

He was brought to the courthouse around 7.30 a.m. and appeared before the magistrate about three hours later.
