This is the question many people will be asking about this woman. Who, is this woman and I have a very simple answer. The woman in the picture is my mother. To some she is “Mother Dee”, “cousin Deldie”, “Mother Labour”, to her children “Mammy”, and grandchildren she is “Marma”.
In the picture this lovely woman is holding the hands of two of her granchildren Kenroy and Henderson, sons of Yvette her daughter.
My mother lived a great life and was loved by the neighborhood. Her deeds of kindness will be written in another article to be published soon.
DELDIE GREGG BYNOE was taken from us a few years ago, but her memories are as yesterday. I shall through this forum keep her memories alive.
