All over the Internet these words are echoed by those in authority and repeated by the readers, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family”.

How much longer are we going to hear these words after another tragedy or another school shooting in America. The Congress failed the people in enacting proper legislation to protect the citizens of the country. Will they do something now or will they continue to “pussyfoot” over the matter and let it slide till another election of promise?

Our thoughts and prayers are, for the People of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as they cry out for proper justice for the citizens. I believe the energies are channelled in the wrong direction and the people need to rethink their way forward with a clearer vision. There are too many mixed signals and the status quo will remain. One people and one voice. Even while the Church remains silent the voice is still crying out loudly in the stillness of the night for some level of change and accountability. Enough is Enough and that that is wherever the pendulum is swinging.

But a change in the wind is coming and I encourage everyone to be prepared.
