After the elections of 2020, I will fight to have the law restored where fishermen will have the window to catch and kill turtles and to be charged for killing turtles out the season and those that hunt the eggs.

Bequia provides most of the fish, conch and lobster that are exported to other countries. However the lack of proper roads for transportation of the goods from Paget Farm to their destination on the island and to the transit area for the final destination. That is why you need a person who knows the plight of these fishermen to work on their behalf. This Independence day I am challenging everyone to take a different look and consider a representative that will work on your behalf.
