Bullying is intentional, unwanted, and aggressive behavior that usually involves a real or perceived power imbalance between the bully and the victim. It often happens repeatedly, and includes actions or words that harm someone physically, emotionally, or socially. Bullying can be physical (hitting, pushing), verbal (name-calling, teasing), emotional (exclusion, threats), cyber (online harassment), or even based on a person’s race, gender, disability, or other personal characteristics.
