Stay calm: Take deep breaths and try not to show that the bully’s words or actions upset you.
Walk away or ignore: If it’s safe, walk away and don’t respond; this deprives the bully of a reaction.
Tell the bully to stop: Firmly say “Stop.” Don’t retaliate or escalate the situation.
Avoid being alone: Stick with friends or trusted adults as much as possible.
Don’t become a bully yourself: Do not react with anger or bullying behaviours.
