SLAVE OWNER SIR WILLIAM

Here is Sir William with his family. He is the one with the cello(?). Also in the photo is his first-born son, who also became Sir William Young 2nd. Sir William left multiple plantations and close to 900 enslaved Africans to his son, who became a prominent member of the British Parliament and staunch advocate for the trade in African bodies.
