In the USA and Canada Summer begins today and the preparation for the West Indian (Labour Day) Parade celebration. While in the Caribbean the hurricane season is picking up some steam. Tropical Storm Bret did substantial damages in Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada. St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados were spared the wrath of Bret. We are in the beginning of the season so I urge you not to go to bed without making the necessary preparation for an unpredictable season.

To my family and friends let us be reminded that we are our brother’s keepers. Do look out for those around you and lend a helping hand. Keep in mind those living close to you that are sick and shut in, who will need a little help from time to time. Whatever you do let it be to the honour and glory of God and then watch your flow of blessings.

Please remember those that have lost loved ones. Nelda and her family in a special way. One thing is that you will not see another Harold James/Bess except for his memories. I will not say do not cry, but in hope that one day you will meet him again.
