HOW TIME FLIES–HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I want to greet a very special person and further introduce her to the world.

The daughter of wonderful parents of Godfrey and Hannah Gregg, who is a jewel in the eyes of those who know her. Sharol-Rose or as she is mostly called “Sharrie” or to a few Ms. Gregg.

Sharol-Rose is what her dad prefers to address her. We watched her grow up and faced every single struggle day after day and each struggle made her stronger. A young woman that excelled with many great accomplishments. She has become a lady admired by many of her peers, coworkers and church associates. The chips have not fallen too far from the tree nor the fruits rolled away.

Sharol-Rose waited and met Lemuel and after dating for some time got engaged and later married. It was on this date (November, 2) in 2012. The “I DOs” was said in Antigua with few family members and a new life began. Sharol-Rose added Abbott to her name to read Gregg-Abbott.

She and Lemuel are inseparable and are building a family that makes her parents very proud. After they got married Le’mar was born in 2014 through the same process as his mother in 1984. A few years later Shammie was born Image may contain: 2 people, people smilingfollowing the same process in 2016.

Those children are the take of every one that sees them or had an opportunity to hold them. They are the gems of their grandparents. Yes, Lemuel’s parents are playing a great role in their lives and his family are very supportive of this younger generation.

Personally, I do not believe anyone knows my love for them and what it means to be a grandfather. I have to be careful how I speak so I remain with equal love for both of them.

With all that said I want to wish Sharol-Rose and Lemuel a very special Fifth Anniversary and I pray that God will continue to be their constant Guide, shield, protection, defender, provider, serving them with good health, strength, and longer life. It is my further prayer that God will not let them beg their bread and the protection of a roof over their heads. In their goings and coming that He is their Leader.

I can only ask that their lives be fashioned according to the living principles of God’s word and the responsibilities of training their children to grow in the fear of the Lord. So in the time of trials, they will not depart from the foundation which is laid. Within time I will be a part of the physical team of stability.

May Almighty God bless and empowers you to continue the walk in His footsteps. I close with these words from Paul to the Church of Corinth. 1 Corinthians chapter 13. 4,5,11,13

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth, not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
