Today St. Vincent and the Grenadines celebrates Emancipation Day from slavery. Unfortunately, we are still in slavery or under the rule of colonialism. Since we are STILL tied to the Privy Council of the London Court system.
It is time for St. Vincent and the Grenadines to “follow suit” and join the CCJ as our final Court of last resort. It is time to stand on our own and prove to the word that we are FREE.
The other aspect of our Freedom is the relinquishing of the Monarchy and having one of our own stalwarts appointed or elected to the highest office replacing the title “Governor General” but should have some responsibilities for National Security along with other Ceremonial functions that go with the newly established Office.
