It’s an Easter tradition for many Vincentians to hike to the summit La Soufrière. This year due to the current effusive eruption, access to the volcano is prohibited but we’re happy to share footage taken by Prof Robertson along the summit that shows the new dome. The dome can now be termed a coulee because of its elongated shape. It continues to grow at the same rate and along the crater floor. The UWI-SRC and NEMO remain the official sources of information on the ongoing eruption at La Soufriere, SVG.
