I used to think you were my whole story. I spent so long trying to stretch you into something permanent, something that was never meant to be. But I’ve come to understand that you were just a really important chapter. And that’s not a loss—it’s just the truth.
You were there when I needed someone. You taught me things about myself I didn’t know. You gave me moments I’ll always carry. But chapters end. Pages turn. And I’ve been holding on to a chapter that was already finished, afraid of what the next one might bring.
I’m not afraid anymore. I’m ready to turn the page. I’m ready to let the story continue. And I’m grateful for every word you helped me write. Thank you for everything you taught me while you were here. I mean that.
This is where our chapter ends. I wish you well.
