Sir Godfrey Gregg
I have been reading so many negative comments about the statement the top Cop put out addressing the crimes over the last weekend. While he has not addressed crimes, in general, I think he made a step in the right direction. I can only hope that he meets the press every week to give an update and address pertinent issues affecting citizens and the police in general.
What I will love to hear from the Commissioner is when repairs will start on the “eyesore” Police Headquarters right in the heart of Kingstown City obliquely opposite the Financial Complex which houses the offices of the Hon Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance. It appears that Police Headquarters is competing with “Little Tokyo” for a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Bay Street Kingstown and the waterfront should create the first impression for visitors entering the Capital from the Port Authority and the Grenadines wharf/cruise terminal and those travelling from the International Airport.
Remember it is our homeland and we have to do our part to make it the best for us and our children.
