Another day family and I am in mourning for our blessed homeland for the devil has taken over our country and we are drifting further away from the reality of who we are. We got away from slavery, imperialism. colonialism and we recently lost our freedom as a people. I have good news for us this morning. Let me take you back to the Old Testament in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 and verse 14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Today I am calling on every citizen in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and in the diaspora to set aside some time for the next three days and honestly call on the Name of the Lord and ask God for some intervention and save our country from the path of annihilation. If for the next 3 days we can put the politics aside and with an open mind and heart make our desires and intentions known before the Lorde I believe He will hear and answer our prayers. It is time to let go and seek the face of Almighty God and He will answer but in His time.
Our future lies not in the will of any politician or group of people, but in the hands and power of God. If you want Him to make the changes in the country you have to start with yourself. Let us rid our lives of the hatred, and sins that beset us and then call on the Name of the Lord for our deliverance. It may look like a very long time, but I am telling you the deliverance is nearer than we can ever think.
To the Christian Council and all my brothers and sisters let us unite as one and approach the Throne of God and pray, pray, pray until something happens. Your silence is not working. Get on the radio, television, corners, byways and hedges and call on the Name of the Lord. He only needs honest hearts and spirits before Him like in the days of Jonah. God we need you more than ever, save our Country, it is falling apart if it is not already fallen.
